Drug firm Pfizer today reported a net profit of Rs 34.6 crore for the quarter ended May 31, 2010, while its net sales stood at Rs 212.33 crore.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said the figures were not comparable with the year-ago period due to the amalgamation of Duchem Laboratories with itself, which became effective from December 1, 2008.
For the six months ended May 31, the company posted a net profit of Rs 77.14 crore, while net sales amounted to Rs 414.94 crore.
Shares of Pfizer today closed at Rs 1,212.45 on the BSE, up 0.62 per cent from the previous close.
