Rajasthan to mine potash in Hanumangarh

Rajasthan government has decided to mine Potash in 878 hectares area in the district of Hanumangarh through a joint venture involving 51 per cent stake of Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Limited.

For the selection of the partner for the remaining 49 per cent stake, presentations were made by Steel Authority of India, Rio Tinto, Zuari Industries Ltd, Raj Mineral Ltd, Kaushalaya Infrastructure Development Corp and others on January 17.
