Ramky Infra wins NHAI contract worth Rs 1,034 cr

Ramky Infrastructure has been awarded a road project by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to undertake four-laning of the Hospet-Chitradurga section of NH-13 in Karnataka, according to a press release filedby Ramky Infrastructure with the BSE. The project falls under National highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase III on design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis.
The filing added that the concession period for the project is 25 years including the construction period of 910 days. The total project cost as per NHAI is Rs 1,033.65 crore.
The company has formed a special purpose vehicle in the name of Hospet-Chitradurga Tollways Limiited to undertake the above projects, said the filing.
At 12:22 pm, shares of Ramky Infrastructure were trading at Rs 225.25 on the BSE, up 7.70% from the previous day's close.
