Rel Cap plans to sell stake in life insurance biz: Anil Ambani

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) company Reliance Capital is planning to unlock value by selling part of its stake in its life insurance business, group Chairman Anil Ambani said today.

This would be done either through strategic sale or initial public offering (IPO), ADAG Chairman Anil Ambani told shareholders at the company's annual general meeting here.

Reliance Capital is also planning to enter the investment banking business, Ambani said. On its private equity fund, he said that the company plans to raise funds from domestic high networth individuals for it.
