Reliance Power Company's net surged by 37% to Rs 346 crore for the quarter ended September 30 against Rs 253 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The total income was up 52% to Rs 2,856 crore against Rs 1,885 crore. The company reported EBITDA of Rs 1,221 crore which was a jump of 105%.

The power and fuel cost has increased to Rs 1,253.94 crore against Rs 1,092.61 crore.

The Sasan ultra mega power project generated 7,922 million units operating at a availability of 90% while the Rosa power plant produced 2,187 million units operating at a availability of 87% and a plant load factor of 83%.
