Retail brokerage firm Reliance Securities today said it had received ISO 9001:2008 certification for its strong business processes and service levels.
ISO 9001:2008 is the latest in the series of internationally recognised quality management system that assesses and ensures that customers get consistent levels of quality products and services from the company.
"Over the last few quarters, we have spent substantial efforts in upgrading our processes to meet global standards and getting the same validated from reputed external agencies. ISO certification is one of the many steps in this direction," Reliance Securities Executive Director Vikrant Gugnani said in a statement.
The system documents all steps in the delivery chain -- from the initial design stage all the way through final delivery and support of the product.
The certification, approved by the British Standards Institution (BSI), also endorses that the quality system are effectively in place.
