Religare Enterprises (REL), a global financial services group, has appointed two new persons on its board.
Stuart D Pearce and Kathryn Matthews have been inducted in the capacity as independent directors with effect from 6 July, 2010.
The new appointments come on the back of both promoters Malvinder Singh and Shivinder Singh deciding to step off the board.
Stuart, prior to joining REL, served as the CEO and director general of Qatar Financial Centre Authority. Kathryn has worked in the asset management space and was head of global equities and portfolio strategies group at Fidelity.
