SAIL today released a statement saying, it maintained its prices for the domestic market during the month of June 2008 at the same level as that of May.
SAIL has maintain the same price level for the domestic market in the month of July 2008 as well.
The steel ministry has summoned producers today to explain an increasing trend in prices in the month of June.
SAIL has urged the user industries, other consumers, as well as trading channels to ensure that the price benefit gets passed on to the ultimate consumers.
