SBBJ Q4 net up 11.3% at Rs 187 cr

PSU lender State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ) today reported a 11.30% increase in its March quarter net profit at Rs 187.70 crore.

The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 166.48 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2009-10, it said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

During the period, SBBJ's total income stood at Rs 1,568.38 crore, up from Rs 1,242.32 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

For the year ended March 31, 2011, the bank's net profit stood at Rs 551 crore from Rs 455 crore in the year-ago period.
