SJVN net down 6% at Rs 387 cr in Jul-Sept qtr
Total revenues of the company during the period declined nearly 3% to Rs 606.44 crore
State-owned hydro power producer SJVN today posted nearly 6% fall in its net profit at Rs 387.03 crore for the quarter ended September 30.
The public sector unit has reported a net profit of Rs 411.10 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, SJVN Ltd, formerly known as Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd, informed the stock exchanges.
Total revenues of the company during the period declined nearly 3% from Rs 623.81 crore in (July-September) 2011-12 to Rs 606.44 crore this quarter.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 19.71 apiece, up 0.51% on the BSE.
