Skoda launches Yeti in Pune
After having launched in Delhi and Ahmedabad, Czech car maker Skoda Auto India today rolled out its first sports utility vehicle (SUV) Yeti in Pune.
Yeti comes at a price tag of Rs14.98 lakh ex-showroom Maharashtra price.
"Skoda Auto India has received 1000 bookings already for Yeti and the company plans to cater to them by January end 2011. The Yeti will create a new SUV segment between the existing premium and low cost offers. The unrivaled price point of the Skoda Yeti would attract a new host of customers and reiterate the brand loyalty amongst the existing customers," Ashutosh Dixit, senior general manager, sales and marketing, Skoda Auto India.The company already has Skoda Boutiques in Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. After Pune, the concept of boutiques showroom will expand to Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Chandigarh. The company plans to increase its dealerships from 72 to 80 by end of 2010.
