Snapdeal kick-starts festive frenzy

Leading e-commerce entity Snapdeal has officially declared Diwali. The company announced on Friday it would do a Diwali sales preview on Monday.

The online marketplace would offer up to 70 per cent discounts across mobile, electronics, fashion and home categories.

"With the Diwali Preview Monday Sale, customers can ring in the Diwali shopping early this year and look forward to unbelievable, great value hourly deals and special price point stores on their favourite products," Snapdeal said.

It is offering cash-back offers from merchant Partners. "On a minimum purchase value of Rs 3,000, one can get 10 per cent cashback using SBI debit and credit cards, even for equated monthly instalment transactions. There are more exciting offers from FreeCharge, including up to 100 per cent cash-back on prepaid transactions," it said.

The company is also offering faster delivery and easier refund services.
