Sokrati raises Series-B funding

Digital marketing and analytics provider Sokrati Technologies has raised an undisclosed amount in its Series-B round of funding from venture capital firm IvyCap Ventures. Existing investors such as Inventus Capital also participated in the funding. Sokrati offers an automated platform for search and social media marketing. It targets advertisers in e-commerce, travel and classifieds. Currently, it has 3,000 marketers on its multi-channel digital marketing platform. It serves 75 million advertisements on a daily basis.

Frankly.me raises $600,000
Delhi-based Pochi Media, the company behind Frankly.me, an online platform that enables users to post a question and get answers from celebrities and experts through video selfies, has received $600,000 in seed funding from venture capital firm Matrix Partners India. Frankly.me is a platform where users can connect with celebrities via a web interface. Users can type in and post questions on the platform. The celebrities working in the respective fields will then answer the questions through video selfies. The product is currently being tested by developers.

Faircent raises funding
Gurgaon-based Fairassets Technologies, the company behind Faircent, an online marketplace for peer-to-peer lending, has secured an undisclosed amount in funding from Devesh Sachdev and Ashish Tiwari at an enterprise valuation of $4 million, reports VCCircle. Faircent.com is a peer-to-peer lending site that caters to both to retail and business loans. It follows a format that allows it to keep institutional charges to bare minimum and passes on this benefit to users. It claims this helps eliminate the high margins that banks and institutions make on transactions.

CommonFloor raises $12 mn
Online real estate platform CommonFloor.com on Thursday said it had raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Google Capital, the internet giant's late-stage growth equity fund.
