Sony India is targeting a third of its revenues from LCD TVs. It is expecting a 33 per cent increase in its revenues at Rs 4,000 crore this fiscal, from the Rs 3,000 last year, said Sony India managing director Masaru Tamagawa.
Meanwhile, Sony is contemplating setting up a manufacturing unit in India. Tamagawa said its mobile phone wing Sony Ericsson has already started operations in Tamil Nadu and they would use the inputs from this wing for studying the manufacturing segment.
He declined to comment on the product or segment the study would focus on.
