Srei BNP Paribas, an equal joint venture between BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions and Srei Infrastructure Finance, today said it is targeting to generate business of over Rs 1,500 crore during its four-day customer engagement programme.

"We are optimistic of mobilising over 2,000 customers through our 86 offices and are expecting to disburse over Rs 1,500 crore through this marketing initiative called Khul Ja Sim Sim. We are hopeful of disbursing around Rs 500 crore at the forthcoming IMME (International Mining and Machinery Exhibition  2010 in Kolkata) itself," Srei BNP Paribas Chief Executive Officer DK Vyas said in a release today.

The company has disbursed over Rs 5,100 crore in the first half of the current fiscal compared to Rs 2,400 crore last fiscal, a growth of 213 per cent, the company release said.

Vyas said the company has already started financing technology solutions and has effectively partnered with leading global IT vendors for financing its customers.

"We have also forayed into financing a new class of equipment in agriculture, health care, office automation and in the education sector," Vyas said.

Over the years, Srei BNP Paribas has been innovating new marketing programmes bringing together manufacturers and customers on a single platform, creating value for both. Its earlier special programmes included Paison Ki Nilami, Money Bag and Srei BNP Paribas Partnership Week among others.
