Srenuj & Company net profit down 18%

Srenuj & Company, a diamond and jewellery conglomerate reported a 18% fall in net profit of quarter four of FY 14 to Rs 26.2 crore compared to Rs 32.3 crore in the same period last year on the back of weak market scenario.

The company's revenue went up by 34.8% rise in revenues to Rs 1,206 crore compared to Rs 894.4 crore.

The company's input costs were high in the last quarter which also had an impact on the margins in the jewellery segment.
