TalentPad acquires tech recruitment platform OptimizedBits

TalentPad, a premium curated marketplace for technology talents on Thursday said that it has acquired Bengaluru-based tech recruitment platform OptimizedBits. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Post the acquisition, TalentPad will retain the entire team of OptimizedBits, including the founders, who will now operate out of the TalentPad office in New Delhi. Currently, TalentPad works with over 200 companies including Housing.com, FlipKart, Zomato, Myntra and InMobi. The company which is backed by Helion, is currently doing a revenue run rate of about $1 million (around Rs 6.4 crore) per annum.

OptimizedBits was founded in 2014 with an aim of disrupting the traditional recruitment space with intelligent and data driven solutions that would give recruiters a ready-to-hire list of candidates. Its clients include startups, including Knowlarity, PropTiger.com, Sumologic, Dialogic and iRunway.

“We believe that the acquisition will add significant strengths to TalentPad as we seek to aggressively grow the market for second generation recruitment solutions,” said Mayank Jain, CEO and Co-Founder of TalentPad.
