Private telecom operator Tata Communications today reduced its consolidated net loss by 22.44% to Rs 218.23 crore for the quarter ended June 30.
The company had a net loss of Rs 281.39 crore during April-June quarter 2010, Tata Communications said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Revenues from telecommunications and other services grew to Rs 3,257 crore during the quarter, up 12.91% from the same period previous fiscal.
On the standalone basis, the company reported a net profit of Rs 47.79 crore, up 20.59% in the same period last year.
Shares of Tata Communications today closed at Rs 200 on the BSE, down 2.10% from previous close.
