Tata Motors will shut its commercial vehicle plant at Jamshedpur for four days, from December 28-31.

As stated by the company on November 7 last, the continuous unavilability finance coupled with high interest rates right across the industry is forcing the customers to postpone purchases, according to the company spokesperson Capt P J Singh here today.

This is as stated will call for appropriate action from Tata Motors from time to time to match the production with demand and avoid unnecessary build up of inventories in the company or with the dealers, he said.
