Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is setting up a new learning and development campus at Thiruvananthanpuram, Kerala. The new campus will house up to 10,000 professionals when fully completed and will offer TCS' learning curriculum to those who join the company from colleges, said a company announcement.
The campus is set over an area of 82 acres in the Technopark region of the southern city. TCS will invest Rs 1,000 crore in the project, which will become the company's training centre once completed. Construction will commence in 2011-12 and is expected to be completed in 36 months from the date of the commencement.
Shares of TCS touched a new high of Rs 896.70 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday.
