VA Tech Wabag, a water and wastewater management company, bagged orders worth Euro 12.9 million from Switzerland.
These include a waste water treatment plant for Andermatt worth Euro 8 million. Wabag will supply a turnkey, state-of-the-art plant. Work is expected to commence in spring 2012 and the expansion waste water treatment plant would be ready at the end of 2013.
Other orders totalling to Euro 4.9 million includes Lake Neuchatel Cudrefin's water treatment plant employing the latest membrane technology and the treatment process with ultra filtration, activated carbon filtration and disinfection.
The Mannedorf waste water treatment plant, involves Wabag Fluopur and dual layer filtration technologies. Other contracts include design and supply of two de-acidification filters in Raron, and supply of filtration plant for Swiss Rheintal.
