Telco Woes Continue, Lcv Sales Down 50%

Tata Engineering saw its woes continue well into the new fiscal with all product categories returning sharp declines.

Light commercial vehicles, which was the fastest growing segment for the company last year, reported a 50 per cent decline in April 2001 over the same month last year.

Sales of Indica, its passenger car, clocked 37 per lower sales in April over the same period last year.
