Totem Infrastructure today said it has bagged several road projects in Madhya Pradesh worth Rs 840 crore from state government-owned road development corporation.
"Awarded roads development work of 610 km worth Rs 840 crore by Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC)," the Gurgaon-based company said in a statement.
It added that the road development work will be executed on build-operate-transfer-semi annuity mode by different special purpose vehicles, which have already been incorporated.
The concession period of the work is 15 years which includes 2 years of construction period, the company said.
"It is a challenge that the company is well equipped to handle... The company is confident of delivering the projects on schedule," Totem Infra's Chairman Salalith Tottempudi said.
The entire project is in seven packages and some of the major roads to be developed are Jaora-Piploda-Jalandharkheda, Beed-Mundi-Devala-Khutala-Attoot, Kurawar-Iklera-Talen, Bawangaja-Pati-Bokrata and Chandla-Sarwai Gourihar-Matondh.
"The proposed roads link some of the most remote areas in the state and will act as a shot in the arm for infrastructure development," the company said.
Totem has an order book over Rs 3,000 crore across various segments of infrastructure, including roads and highways, transportation, irrigation and power.
In the recent past, the company has executed four-laning of about 220-km of National Highway work in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh.
