Train for pharma products

Container Corporation Of India Limited (Concor), in association with South Central Railway, launched a refrigerated container train service on Wednesday to carry pharma and other products meant for export from Hyderabad. The first train carried seven refrigerated containers loaded with high-value and temperature-sensitive pharma products to Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Mumbai, for export. Concor has created infrastructure like plug-in points at its inland container depot at Sanathnagar in Hyderabad and placed high capacity diesel generator sets in the train to ensure uninterrupted power supply, a release stated.
