The plan is expected to materialise in this financial year. TTK Prestige vice-president Chandru Kalro said the ultimate objective of the company is to emerge as a total kitchen solutions provider by 2005.

 Kalro, who was here to announce the opening of Prestige Smart Kitchen - the first-of-its-kind outlet in Kerala showcasing the existing product range, said around 100 such showrooms would be opened during the next two years across the country.

 Though these showrooms would be set up on a franchisee basis, TTK Prestige would invest around Rs 8 lakh in stocks and promotional activities in the case of each such showroom.

 The company would be investing around Rs 1.5 crore under this head during this current financial year, he said.
