Delhi-based Tulip Telecom, a data telecom service provider, has been awarded the state wide area network (SWAN) project for Madhya Pradesh against a bid of Rs 95 crore. The network will be established on a built own operate and transfer model. According to the agreement , Tulip will deploy, manage and operate the network for a five year period
The network supports data, voice and video and will enable the state to implement various e-governance activities.
Commenting on the development HS Bedi, CMD, Tulip Telecom said, “ Tulip is delighted to be a part of the prestigious National e-Governance Plan of Government of India (NeGP) and look forward to extend expertise for the successful deployment of Madhya Pradesh SWAN. Tulip’s extensive experience in implementing such project uniquely positions it as a leading provider of eGovernance infrastructure.”
