TVS Capital appoints G V Kumar as executive director

Kumar was a partner at Aureous India earlier

TVS Capital Funds has appointed G V Kumar as executive director effective January 16, 2015.

Kumar, a former partner at Aureos India, has 17 years of experience in the private equity fund segment. 

In his eight-year stint at Aureos, Kumar led several transactions across industries such as engineering, logistics and healthcare services. Prior to that, he spent nine years at ICICI Venture as vice president, investments, where he managed transactions in sectors including pharmaceuticals, auto components, engineering, retailing and internet.

Gopal Srinivasan, chairman and managing director of TVS Capital, said, "We believe that his experience will prove to be a big asset to the Fund”.

Kumar holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Bangalore and has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, from NIT Suratkal.
