Two-wheeler sales grew by 13 per cent to 186,041 units in April 2015 from 165,194 units, a year ago.
Domestic two-wheeler sales rose by 13 per cent to 162,516 units in April 2015 as compared to 143,434 units, a year ago.
Scooter sales grew by 15 per cent to 49,375 units in April 2015 as compared to 42,942 units in April 2014. Motorcycles grew by 13 per cent to 74,953 units in April 2015 as compared to 66,460 units, a year ago.
Exports grew by 18 per cent to 32,426 units in April 2015 as compared to 27,493 units in April 2014.
Three-wheeler sales rose by 48 per cent to 9,896 units in April 2015 as compared to 6,703 units in April 2014.
