TVS sales up 12%

TVS Motor Company reported an 18 per cent jump in domestic sales of two-wheelers last month over the same period last year, at 118,563 units against 100,088 units. Overall growth for the month was 12 per cent, of 131,029 units against 117,101 units in October 2008.

The company has had continuous growth in sales over the past seven months, a cumulative growth of six per cent, with sales of 868,509 units in the current financial year up to October against 819,037 units in the same period last year.
