Ultratech Cement today said its sales in December 2010 remained unchanged vis-a-vis the same month of the previous year at 32.73 lakh tonnes (LT).
"Cement Production for the month of December 2010 stood at 32.21 LT and dispatches at 32.73 LT, maintaining the same level respectively over December 2009," the Aditya Birla Group company said in a statement today.
During the April-September period of the current fiscal, however, sales of the company increased by 3.92 per cent to 279.60 LT compared to 269.05 LT in the corresponding period of the last fiscal.
Production during the first nine months of the current fiscal also rose by by 3.75 per cent to 279.88 LT as against 269.77 LT during April-December 2009.
