Drug maker Unichem Laboratories today said its net profit rose by 20.22 per cent to Rs 33.88 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2010.
Total income of the company rose to Rs 173.84 crore during the quarter compared to Rs 146.38 crore during the same period previous fiscal, Unichem Lab said in a statement.
The company has declared second interim dividend of 140 per cent, or Rs 7 per share, for the year 2009-10.
For the year ended March 31, 2010, the company posted a net profit of Rs 133.92 crore compared to Rs 124.75 crore in the previous fiscal.
Total income of the company rose to Rs 690.59 crore in 2009-10 compared to Rs 656.86 crore in the previous fiscal.
Shares of Unichem were trading at Rs 402.15 on BSE, up 1.53 per cent from its previous close.
