United Phosphorus buys 51% in DVA Agro Brasil

United Phosphorus announced on Tuesday that it has acquired majority stake in Brazil’s DVA Agro Do Brasil. United Phosphorous has acquired 51% stake from DVA Group (Germany) and other shareholders.
DVA Agro Brasil is engaged in the production, marketing, selling and distribution of crop protection and other agro-chemicals in Brazil.
This is United Phosphorus’s second acquisition in the Brazilian crop protection market.
The acquisition will give United Phosphorus access to a larger addressable market in Brazil, the company said in a press release.
