VE Commercial Vehicles sales down 13% in July

Company sold 3,602 units in the same month in 2012

Auto maker VE Commercial Vehicles today reported 12.54% decline in total sales of Eicher branded products at 3,150 units in July 2013.

The company, which is a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, had sold 3,602 units in the same month in 2012.

Domestic sales stood at 2,915 units in July 2013 as against 3,942 units in the year-ago period, down 26.05%, VECV said in a statement.
