Vijaya Bank net jumps 33% to Rs 144 cr

Bangalore-based Vijaya Bank today said it has clocked a 33.10 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 144.31 crore for the September quarter of this fiscal.

The lender had a net profit of Rs 108.42 crore in the June-September quarter for the 2009-10 fiscal, it said in a statement.

Its total income during the quarter of 2010-11 was Rs 1,620.92 crore, compared to Rs 1,457.80 crore  in the comparable period last fiscal, the statement said.
