Western Union to enter mobile money transfer soon

He told reporters the company along with State Bank of India had last November signed an agreement with Bharti Airtel for implementing a pilot project on mobile money transfer services in the country.     

The company had also entered into an agreement with GSMA, the global trade association, representing more than 700 mobile phone operators throughout the world, he said.
