Wipro Limited, India's third largest IT services company has expanded its board of directors by inducting two more independent directors. The new directors who would join Wipro board effective April 1, 2016 include Patrick Dupuis, a senior VP at PayPal Holdings and Patrick J Ennis, a technologist and venture capitalist.

Dupuis joined PayPal in 2010 as Chief Financial Officer where he was instrumental in the company's separation from eBay Inc. and listing on the Nasdaq in 2015. Prior to PayPal, he was the CFO of Sitel, and had also spent around 20 years at GE.

"He brings with him a combination of financial acumen and a deep understanding of driving cultural and operational transformation. I am confident Wipro will immensely benefit from his experience," Azim Premji, Chairman, Wipro Limited said in a statement.

Earlier this month, Wipro had named Patrick J Ennis as an independent director on its board. Ennis is currently the Global Head of Technology at Intellectual Ventures, a privately-held invention capital company, where he invests in innovation and technology commercialisation world-wide.

Wipro presently has 11 members in its board including four executive directors including chairman Azim Premji, vice chairman T K Kurien and CEO Abidali Neemuchwala.
