In a release the state administration said besides 347 human lives, 3,889 heads of cattle have been lost throughout the state, 1,16,307 huts has been assessed so far.
Around 17,64,004 persons have been rescued, evacuated and accomadated in the relief centres. The administration said 66,05 relief centres have been opened and 600 boats were mobilised.
In the massive rescue operations 12 columns of Army, 48 NDRF-teams, 400 Navy & Coast Guard personnel, five helicopters from Indian Air Force, two helicopters from the Coast Guard and two helicopters from Navy have been deployed for relief operations.
Immediate relief amount of Rs.67.47 Crores has been disbursed to 1,11,278 families so far.
