The death toll in flash floods and landslides that ravaged Uttarakhand is around 900 so far, Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde said here today.

"So far, 1.05 lakh persons have been rescued," Shinde told PTI.

"So far, 52 bodies have been cremated. We will be carrying out combing operations in the next two to four days with the help of military and paramilitary forces," he said.
