Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on the final day of his Gujarat tour said that if the Congress comes in power it will fight with China by generating jobs and helping small businesses flourish.
Firing fresh salvos at the Modi government at centre and Gujarat, Rahul said, "Everyday 30, 000 people go in search of jobs, and the government provides employment to just 400 new youth as compared to 40, 0000 in China."
"The Congress party will fight China, not by anger but by helping small business here and by providing employment," he added.
Gandhi was addressing the crowd at Rajkot on his concluding day of the three day visit to Gujarat of his Navsarjan Yatra in Saurashtra ahead of Gujarat Assembly polls.
Here, criticising the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Congress vice-president said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has waived off Rs 13, 0000 Crore loan of 15 richest industrialists of the country."
Adding that had companies in Gujarat would have been helped in the same way by the Prime Minister; lakhs of people would have been employed here.
Wooing farmers he said if the Congress government will come in power here, it will make sure that the money given to these corporates currently is given to the farmers. And that farm loans will be waived off within 10 days.
Gandhi also termed the Gujarat model an utter failure and said his party will rejuvenate the Gujarat Model, provided a chance.
Talking more about his agenda, he said that his dream is to see machines in China encrypted with 'Made in Gujarat', 'Made in India'.
