The hunt for the elusive driver, who killed a 17-year-old boy in a hit and run incident in outer Delhi's Paschim Vihar area, is on, police said on Monday.

Two days after a scooter rider was allegedly killed by a speeding car, police are still looking for the accused driver, a senior police officer said.

The grill and logo of the vehicle were found on the spot and police are hunting for the accused driver on the available clues, he said.

Police are questioning workshop owners in the area and representatives of Mercedes repair shops in Delhi to know whether a car had come for repair in the last couple of days, he said.

The registration number of the vehicle was not captured in the CCTV footage which has made the job of investigating officers difficult, he added.

Atul Arora was returning home on a scooter from a religious function at an ashram near his Paschim Vihar home when a Mercedes rammed into his vehicle causing his death.
