In an obvious reference to the urban centres of criticism, Congress president Sonia Gandhi quipped Wednesday that "Dilliwalas" don't seem to know the UPA's success story.
Gandhi made the metaphorical remark at a dinner table where she was seated along with Lalu Prasad when journalists sought her views about the UPA government's nine years in office.
"I am happy with the work done," she said, before adding, to peals of laughter: "Dilliwalas don't know (the success story)."
Gandhi dismissed with contempt the growing criticism of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government by the Bharatiya Janata Party.
"What else do you expect from them?" she asked.
