Firing at LoC as Pak troops violate ceasefire

Indian and Pakistani troops are engaged in firing at the LoC as Pakistani troops allegedly violated the ceasefire early this morning.

Reports say that Pakistan opened the fire in the morning and fired rockets and mortars, after which Indian troops also retaliated.

Earlier, blasts at the Line of Control (LoC) in J and K's Poonch left one jawan dead and eight others, including a Major, injured on Thursday.

An Improvised Explosive Device was reportedly used to trigger the blast with a remote controlled device from across the LoC.
