IBPS PO/MT aspirants can check their results on the official website of the IBPS, www.ibps.in.
Step-by-step guide on how to check the prelim results:
1. Log on to the official website of the IBPS, ibps.in
2. Click on the notification flashing on top of the page saying Click here to view your preliminary exam result status for CWE PO/MT – VI to display the result
3. Enter details required like the registration number or roll no and password (date of birth) in the space provided
4. Enter an image code as shown
5. Click on Login button
6. Save the result displayed and take a print out for future reference.
Candidates are advised to keep patience as the result portal may be working slow due to heavy amount of traffic on the IBPS website (Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institute_of_Banking_Personnel_Selection).
About CWE PO/MT VI
IBPS conducted PO/MT prelims exam 2016 online on October 16, 20 and 23, 2016. The mains examination 2016 is scheduled for November 20, 2016. The result should be announced out in December 2016. Successful candidates have to appear for the interview round. The call letters for the interview round will be available for download in the IBPS website sometime in January 2017. Candidates will be granted allotment on a provisional basis in April 2017,
CWE PO/MT VI mains
Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of online main examination. Also, a minimum total score will be considered when candidates are to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online main examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.

CWE PO/MT-VI interview
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for CWE PO/MT-VI will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the participating organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from authorised IBPS websitewww.ibps.in.
The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of CWE (Main exam) and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination of CWE PO/MT-VI and Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.
A candidate should qualify both in the CWE (Main) and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on IBPS website.
