Formed as the apex body of the Kerala government for facilitating and coordinating all skill development initiatives, KASE is expanding its presence in the state with various initiatives.
Under the MoU, signed today, NSDC will support and provide resources for facilitating the skill development initiatives and capacity building programmes of KASE.
KASE is setting up the Indian Institute of Infrastructure and Construction at Chavara in Kollam as an international skill training institute, which will offer high-end courses in the construction sector. In the KASE-CoEs model, skill training is provided by industry majors with guaranteed employment in India and abroad, along with shop floor training and international certifications.
