Birla has come forward to establish a campus of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS-Pilani) in Visakhapatnam, according to a government spokesperson.
Naidu has agreed to give government land if the Birla group decides to establish the institute, the spokesperson said. BITS-Pilani already has a campus in Hyderabad.

Andhra University is expected to provide makeshift facilities for the new IIM until a new campus is built for the same.
