Loud explosion due to firecrackers at Porbandar Naval base in Gujarat

A loud explosion was heard at Porbandar Naval base in Gujarat. The Navy has clarified that the noise was due to bursting of firecrackers.

The Navy spokesperson tweeted, "Noise heard at/ off Porbandar Naval Base is of firecrackers."


Heavy security was deployed outside the Naval base after explosion was reported.
