"Modi is an asset for the party. People are attracted by his style of functioning. BJP does not have to go searching for the prime ministerial candidate like in Congress", Javadekar told reporters here.
Javadekar said people always wanted the leader like Modi because he has delivered on the promise of good governance in Gujarat.

To a query on political misuse of CBI, Javadekar said the central agency is the main "ally" of Congress.
"If Congress has guts it should call for early elections. We are ready for the polls," he said.
