Chief Judicial Magistrate J N Thakkar sent Narayan Sai to six days police custody while the police had demanded his remand for 14 days.
His aide Kaushal Thakur alias Hanuman was also sent to police custody till December 11 while his another aide Ramesh Malhotra was remanded in police custody till December 7.

Sai had allegedly faked notary signature to get a court document issued against his name for which his custodial remand is necessary, police had said.
Sai was brought to the city in the morning after he was arrested by Delhi police from Delhi-Haryana border yesterday along with his two aides after giving his SUV a hot chase near Kurukshetra. In the afternoon, his medical check-up was also done.
A magisterial court in Rohini had yesterday granted 24-hour transit remand of Sai and two others, PSO Kaushal Thakur alias Hanuman (29) and driver Ramesh Malhotra (27), to Gujarat Police.
Two sisters had lodged complaints against Sai and his father Asaram of rape, sexual assault, illegal confinement and other charges.
Surat police had booked 40-year-old Sai under various sections including rape, unnatural sex, molestation, wrongful confinement, unlawful assembly, rioting armed with deadly weapon, criminal intimidation and criminal conspiracy of the IPC.
In her complaint, the younger of the two sisters had accused Sai of repeated sexual assaults between 2002 and 2005 when she was living at the Surat ashram.
The elder sister, in her complaint against Asaram, had accused him of repeated sexual assaults between 1997 and 2006 during the time she was living at his ashram on the outskirts of Ahmedabad.
Asaram (72) is currently lodged in a Jodhpur jail after being arrested in September for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl at his Jodhpur ashram.
