A metropolitan sessions court here on Monday granted bail and asked Raju and his brother to furnish personal bonds of Rs 1 lakh each and two sureties for the same amount. The eight other accused were also granted bail on execution of personal bonds of Rs 50,000 each and two sureties for the same amount.
Last month, the special court set up by the CBI had awarded seven years rigorous imprisonment to all the accused besides imposing a fine of Rs 5 crore each on Raju and his brother and Rs 25 lakh each on eight others.
Following this, all the convicted were taken into custody and shifted to Cherlapally Central Jail in Secunderabad.
