Second seeded Chen Long of China defeated top seeded Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia to clinch the gold medal in the men's singles event of the badminton competition at the ongoing Rio Olympics here on Saturday.
The Chinese dominated the court to take the match in straight games 21-18, 21-18 in an hour and 13 minutes at the Pavilion 4 of the Riocentro.
